The multi award winning baths, as seen on BBC NI Newsline, BBC 1's 'The One Show' UTV's Insight and UTV Live programmes and RTE's 'Nationwide' programme.

Soak Seaweed baths is situated in the beautiful County Down seaside town of Newcastle on the extremely pretty South Promenade.
SOAK offers hot saltwater seaweed baths, individual steam cabinets as well as jet spa showering.
Seaweed baths are not a new concept. In fact they have been used for centuries (mainly by the rural farming community), as they have been found invaluable for easing rheumatic aches and relieving painful skin conditions.
Now this kind of natural treatment is increasingly popular with forward thinking people interested in alternative therapies. For more information on the benefits of Seaweed please click here
During your visit to SOAK you will be allocated a private bathroom. This will be equipped with a Victorian roll top bath that will be prepared for you with hot saltwater and Seaweed.
You will also have the choice of a bathroom with a hand crafted victorian style wooden steam cabinet or the more modern steam shower enclosure. There is also a fresh water jet spa shower in each bathroom.
Fresh seaweed is used for every bath and towels will be provided.
Each bathroom is individually wired for sound so if you bring along a CD and give it to us in the reception, you can enjoy your soak whilst listening to your favouite tunes.
So if you find yourself returning from a ramble in the Mournes or just simply want to relax, rejuvenate and pamper yourself then a Seaweed Bath could be just what you need.
Single bathrooms available, shared single bathrooms or a double bathroom (Two baths). Your SOAK session should last for approximately an hour.
